Jordan Hickey

Jordan Hickey is Chief Executive Officer of Hickeys. Jordan has more than a decade of experience in law; negotiating sophisticated commercial and residential property transactions.

In 2008 – the year he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland – Jordan Hickey graduated from The Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Brisbane, Queensland with a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Business majoring in International Business.

Jordan has more than a decade of experience in law, negotiating sophisticated commercial, hotel and residential property transactions. This includes large-scale residential developments, commercial business sales and acquisitions, and hotel sales and acquisitions.

Mid way through Jordan’s legal career his role expanded. He used his legal skills and experience as a base to expand into providing a full suite of management and development services for high net worth clients, which he has now done for over five years.

Jordan assists clients in all aspects of their investments in Australia from identification, acquisition, finance, sales and development/project management.

Some key projects he has worked on include:

  • Sale and Acquisition of Sheraton Mirage Hotel Gold Coast:
    • Transactional value in excess of AU$100 million.
  • Acquisition of Crowne Plaza Gold Coast.
  • Management of Eleve Project:
    • Transactional value in excess of AU$100 million.
  • Management of Spirit Project:
    • Transactional value in excess of AU$1.2 billion.
  • Tony Fung’s Aquis Australia’s Cairns Casino proposal:
    • Proposed project value of AU$8 billion.
  • ASX 200 Listed Mantra Group key matters being:
    • Several hotel and group mergers and acquisitions.
    • Corporate restructures.
  • Bob Ells’ Leda Group Holdings:
    • Management of legals for leasing at Victoria Point Shopping Centre.

Jordan is also a passionate and committed supporter of the Gold Coast, contributing to the community through his charitable role as Chairman of The Salvation Army Gold Coast Red Shield Appeal.
